VABasser Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Got a JJ's question for you all. I've got some baits, worms mainly, that I want to scent with some clear JJs. I was planning on putting a little JJ's in a ziploc bag and throwing the baits in there to get a dunking. After letting them dry I'd put them back in the Plano boxes I've got them stored in. Will the JJ's on the baits do anything to the plastic boxes? I know it can be volatile stuff Quote

Super User Shane J Posted December 28, 2010 Super User Posted December 28, 2010 Should be fine. I always throw them back in the Planos if I change baits, and never had an issue yet. Quote
Big Tom Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I keep my JJ's containers in a Plano 3730. This is where I do all my bait dipping and when I am done, I just throw the dipped plastic on the lid until I get the containers closed up. Then I wipe any excess JJ's on the lid and close it all back up. The entire lid of the Plano is died chartreuse and smells real nice. ;D The Plano lid bends a little bit around the JJs but it still closes and holds the bottles perfectly in place. I have been doing this for two seasons and the Plano box is still holding up just fine. I don't think JJ's will bother the plastic boxes. Quote
Super User CWB Posted December 29, 2010 Super User Posted December 29, 2010 The worst it will probably do is stink up the box and everything within a 1 mile radius of it. Put the baits back in the zip-lock bag they came in and leave them there until they are ready for use. Quote
