Super User Sam Posted February 1, 2014 Super User Posted February 1, 2014 OK all you east coast guys and gals, the 2015 Bassmasters Classic will be held on Lake Hartwell with the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina being the Classic Expo consumer show place on February 20, 21 and 22, 2015. So think about attending and make your travel arrangements now to secure a spot in a motel/hotel/bed & breakfast. You may have to wait until after February 22, 2014 to get a room so put that date on your calendar. Hope a bunch of us Forum guys can make it. I am taking my wife so she can get freebies, too!!! 1 Quote

Lasher Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I'l be there, Hartwell and the Savannah River lakes are my "home" lakes so I'm very excited that the Classic is coming to my neck of the woods. Quote
Fish_Whisperer Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Of course I'm gonna check it out. Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted February 14, 2014 Super User Posted February 14, 2014 I went to the last one at Hartwell and while I generally had a great time I was a little surprised the Expo and weigh-In sites were two different locations. That said, I will be there and I hope a large group can get together for supper one night. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 14, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 14, 2014 I really hope they fix the parking/traffic problems around the expo this time. Wow...what a mess! Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 16, 2014 Super User Posted February 16, 2014 I don't live too far from there so I'm in for sure. Quote
jhoffman Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I really think they need to start throwing a curve ball with the classic. Its always begin of the year, so its always a jerkbait, deep crankn, rattletrap kind of tournament. Cold water, no matter where it ends up, its the coldest water for the year. Start having it one year in the fall, next year in the spring, next year in the summer. Spread the love, play to everyones best times. Its no wonder KVD is a powerhouse, its always in cold water. It wouldnt hurt to run it north to south and east to west either. Quote
jhoffman Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I got an idea... pick your own lake classic. You take a guy in the boat, MLF style and fish any d**n lake you want at any time of year for your classic run. Whoever has the best 4 day 5 fish bag by Dec 31, takes the check. Quote
blongfishing Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Lake Hartwell is my home lake. I live in Greenville. I was so excited when I heard this. I cannot wait!! 1 Quote
