Morelures Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I love the swimming action of the Net bait paca chunk and have not yet tried the Strike king rage chunk. Any ideas on what you like better? I have read a ton of great stuff about the Strike king rage chunks. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted December 27, 2010 Super User Posted December 27, 2010 I personally haven't found a better jig trailer, than the Rage Chunk. Both are great baits, but all Rage Tails for me! Quote
Super User grimlin Posted December 27, 2010 Super User Posted December 27, 2010 Matter of opinions...they both good baits. Quote
BassThumb Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I think they're pretty similar in action, with the Rage Chunk having a little better action, as well as being more durable than the Paca, and also a lot more expensive. For value, I prefer the Sr. Paca Chunk. The claws don't tear off as easily as with the standand Paca Chunk. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted December 28, 2010 Super User Posted December 28, 2010 I don't care for the rage tail chunks, I prefer the baby craw. The paxa chunks are great and are at a good price and have a very wide color selection. The selection of the ragetail baits is limited but both are great baits. Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Pacas seem to be a better value IMO. I have rage chunks and they are good baits but if i buy anything new it will be pacas solely because of the price difference. Quote
JR Howard Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Check out the Xcite baits chunks and you wont look back. They are all I use on my jigs anymore. Stay on good with great action and colors. Also very resonably priced. Quote
NateFollmer Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I use 3 trailers (technically 2) - My main trailer is my Rage Craw. When that isn't working, I cut it in half and slap it on the jig... If that doesn't work, I use the Paca Craw. I think the Paca craw is a great size... It's small, but it still has a bulky profile. I was never a big fan of the straight chunks/pork style baits. Quote
Vboards1 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I personally haven't used either baits but when I went on tacklewarhouse.com and saw the color selection for the paca craws and chunks, i was instantly hooked. I ordered some colors i didn't even need : ;) Quote
