Big-O Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 A cold front had them lethargic until the sun showed, then it was hold on to your shorts time. This SWEET Babe plowed a flipped Smokin Rooster in 8 foot trees on the drop. My hands were cold before she bit, then they warmed up quickly. After her Glamour shot she was released on the spot. 7 Quote

Fork, Falcon, Choke, Ivy, RayRoberts, and Amistad are my favorite waters. I wish we had more big bass lakes but those are the ones I fish most often. 3 Quote

Some of the best bass fisheries in the world. You truly are lucky to live near them. Why the heck do I live in New England ? Over 3 feet of snow 2 feet of ice on the lakes as of right now. Yup, moving to Texas. 1 Quote

Big-O Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 You now what they say "The big girls keep you warm...when your hands are cold" "O" man thats a biggn' You sure know how to kick us Northeners when we're down Thanks for sharing Not trying to kick ya boostr consider it a little FIX until you get some soft water and can chase'em yourself I had the opportunity to be a Coach during a 2 day Tournament this past wknd (Couldn't Fish, just advise) and my angler took 2nd overall on a lake that he nor I had never fished, with all of the other anglers being familiar with the lake... We got lucky early, and found the bait and color that the fish wanted MOST. Although he threw spinnerbaits, Cranks and jerks etc in addition to, he caught every fish on two different RT's in two different contrasting colors, depending to the water and daylight conditions I had a blast! Hope yall get a break in the cold a bit earlier than usual and can get back out there! 1 Quote
