Super User buzzed bait Posted January 30, 2014 Super User Posted January 30, 2014 Only been once and was such nasty weather I couldn't really get around in the kayak. But that said, if you're tight on a budget I suggest tent camping at the Guntersville State Park. Awesome place to camp, lake front and if you're towing your boat you can launch right there. It is the southeast side of the lake. Now from site, the lake is awesome. Tons of rock faces and bluffs that i'd be throwing a soft swimbait of some sort. Also more matted grass than you can imagine so a buzzbait would be in my mind for the grass mats and a frog as well. From what i've read and heard gold colors seem to produce pretty well on Guntersville. Quote
lazeebum Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 The state park is really good for camping. Nice launch and everything real handy. Quote
