Need some info on getting a replacement boat cover. I have a 1996 Stratos 268 and needless to say the original cover is long gone, so I'm looking for a replacement cover, searched on line at BassPro and the few that looked as though they might work had really poor reviews. Has anyone here purchased a cover from them or from anywhere else and if so what are your recommendations. Don't need one to travel with this is just to use when the boat is not being used, winter storage is inside but during the fishing season I keep it in the back yard and rain, leaves, sun, and the usual bird crap is what I need to protect it from. Thanks for any input.

Try contacting Stratos and see if the still offer covers for your boat.  My 201 came with factory custom cover that also covered the outboard.  It was totally weather proof and trailerable.  Very very well made with thick heavy fabric and the inside was lined with a soft fabric to prevent any scratching.  They were about $7-800 back in the 90's but worth every penny if you don't have a garage to park in.

Youre gonna look at this price and think... no way, has to be junk. I am telling you, its every bit as nice as a factory cover. This one likely wont fit your boat, however I would order from this company again in a heartbeat.

I ordered a Prism cover from BoatCovers.com in November.  Had the cover within 5 days, and it fits perfect.  Great cover at half the price of the manufacturers cover.  I'm very happy with it.

Good luck.

Mine was made by them 12 years ago.  It spends lots of days in campgrounds and has been from MO to S. TX many times.  It still looks almost new.

I think this is the Company that made the factory Stratos covers when I had my 1993 model 201.  Been a long time since I had that boat and had forgotten the manufacturer name but that sounds really familiar.

Ive been very happy with my BP cover. It was in the $189 range for my 18.5 bass tracker. Very nice mid weight cover.

I have purchased 2 different ones from Walmart that had a 5 year warranty.  They do not hold up at all.  I will buy a $20 tarp the next time.

I got one at the Cabelas KCK in the Bargain Cave that was better than the one that came with my boat for about $70.   It is a trailerable cover, all I had to do was to cut the straps so that they fit my boat without too much flapping.
