It depends on the time of year and where I am fishing.  In the summer I tend to do better on chrome w/ blue back.  In the spring natural craw colors seem to work best.  In the fall it is the big 3/4 ounce rat-l-trap in shiner color that I use the most.  I like the Cordell Super spots for the chrome, and rat-l-traps for the craw and shiner colors.

I think the Lucky Craft LV500 Max in Aurora Black is my favorite. I use several different LV sizes but I think that one is my favorite.

The LV500 Max is a bigger 3/4 ounce lipless crank bait.

Does anyone make a suspending version?

Sebile make an oil filled, suspending lipless bait called a Flatt Shad.

As a result of the design, it sinks slowly to 3 feet or so and then suspends.

I have a few but can't report that they have been world beaters.

SPRO Arku shad in "Old Glory," I say this is my favorite lipless crankbait, but then again it is my only lipless crank bait. lol

XR50 One Knocker in Foxy Shad and Bleeding Bream (discontinued). Far outfishes any other rattlebait I own, which are slowly dwindling.

Xcalibur XR rattle baits - Good, tough finishes, good hooks out of the box.

And I like the Xcaliber rattle baits because they seem to have more resistance on the retrieve than most other lipless baits.

It helps to keep them higher in the water column and still allows you to get away with a heavier model for absolute BOMBING casts.

'Stick to the 5/8 oz. or 1/2 oz. sizes unless you are wanting them to get deep, fast'.

I also think the IMA Rock N' Vibes look the best, but have not used them yet...

I hope they catch as good as they look...

The colors I selected:

Another bait that is causing a big stir on an Ohio dedicated fishing forum is SmartTackle's Flitterbait-2's. (Voted flat out best bait of 2013 for one of the guys)

In his opinion, nothing else he owns even came close to the productivity he got out of this lure. I picked up a complete set.

You should replace the 'clip-on' size 6 hooks. I opted for some red extra wide gap Owner Stinger's size 6 hooks...

And size 2 split-rings...

He is throwing a Flitterbait-2 here...

Talonman, I ordered a few of the Flitterbaits to try this year. Thanks for bringing this bait to my attention.

You probably have enough lures to get by. I think you should devote all

of your fishing money to the new rod,

There's a lot of truth to that. My PB LMB was caught on a blue over chrome Academy H2O Express lipless crank !

Good old Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap, 1/2oz in Red Crawfish. I have caught more fish on that bait than all my other lipless and lipped cranks combined.
