Last summer I purchased the bombshell turtle as many lures catch me and not the fish so much but I do like to experiment and try new lures often. I nose hooked these on my drop shot setup as I was getting many hits on anything else during this span in the summer and every time I put these on I killed it! Has anyone else tried these on a drop shot or any other presentations for that matter?

I used them last summer, I used the juvenile green color and I Texas rigged them. I only used them for maybe an hour and a half and I caught a catfish lol. After hearing about your success I might have to try them again this Spring.

Lol. I would never thought to use it on a Drop shot. Very cool.

I've seen it pretty hyped up by some kayak guys, never tried myself.

Only thing I could see it really working on is during spawn, but hey, I'd only know if I tried one! Perhaps someday I will.

Bass normally do not feed on turtles do to the hard shells damaged their mouths.  On saying that, I have a pack of Bombshell Crabs that are awesome.

I have had my eye on these for a couple of years, but have been wary... I generally try to stay away from any lure/tackle displayed along with one of those infomercial TV screens...  Guess I'll finally grab a couple packs.

Obviousle a bass will eat a turtle, but I am sure there are plenty of other things it would rather eat.

I caught a pickeral one that obviously had a fairly large turtle in its stomach.

I guess not many have tried them ... the bass around me were sure eating them, maybe they thought they were something other than a turtle. I got them as a gift and sat on them for a year and tried them as a texas rig and didn't like the action but glad I tried as a drop shot.
