AreWeFishingYet Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Hello! I'm from Virginia, about 30 mins North of Richmond. My fishing experience is usually local lakes/ponds, Lake Anna, and the Rappahannock River. I came across this site earlier today while looking up some information and wow is this place helpful, for the last 2 hours I have been reading about and getting useful info. I've only been into fishing for about a year, but nothing is more fun to me than getting out there and catching some, though my catching is limited to the shore right now. I am hoping to get a boat within the next couple of years but getting married in a few months has stopped my boat dreams for now. I still have a lot to learn, when I'm not firefighting, I'm fishing or researching about how to get better. Look forward to meeting some of you here and at some events hopefully. Matt Quote

Super User Sam Posted January 29, 2014 Super User Posted January 29, 2014 Great having you with us. Please share your adventures and ask your questions. We are here to help you become a better bass fisherman, especially on One Fish Anna!!!!! And yes, newly wed ladies want dumb stuff, like furniture, decorations, new houses, nice cars, food, entertaining friends. Dumb stuff like that. Nothing as important as a bass boat!!!! Welcome to the Club of Marriage. All the best for many happy years together and a lot of little firefighters. Quote
AreWeFishingYet Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 One Fish Anna, haha. Haven't had much luck there have you? Bass boat is last, behind a new shovel for her. Thanks for the well wishes! Quote

RanndomUndead Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I have a feeling the 96,000 Wipers theyre stocking here soon is going to change "One Fish Anna" back into its 50 fish legend days. Atleast for this year. Why they want to stock fish that cant breed ill never know Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 27, 2014 Super User Posted February 27, 2014 Fished One Fish Anna once last year. Had a four fish bag. Just could not find the last one. Best places were already taken when I got there. Seems the locals know where to go and they head to their honey holes first thing. Keep us posted on your One Fish Anna adventures and be safe. Quote
