New Tackle arrival update...  :)

My hook collection is looking better.

I took the advice given in this thread and removed the lead from my Terminal Tackle tray.

I also took the advice given and picked up some glass beads, for that different 'tink' sound when using bullet weights.

Next, I am relieved to report that my first G2 arrived, and it JUST fits in the small size tray that I ordered.

Actually, when closed, it shouldn't shake around too much...

Probably a good thing when you consider that this tray, will be stored standing on it's side.

Needless to say, I was glad that it officially fit in the large pocket of my tackle box.

I love it when a plan comes together...  :)

I now have also officially graduated, to 3 box status on my plastics:

Bass - Impact Fats - and Ultra Light:

You gave me a idea for terminal tackle, putting size labels from the packs in each compartment. Thanks!

Plastics, you aint got no plastics. You can count the number of bags you have. You don't count plastics, you weigh them. If your plastics don't cause your boat to list a few degrees to port or starboard you don't have enough. If you don't have 15-20 plastic shoe boxes of "extras" and "fill ins" in your man cave, you don't have enough plastics. If you don't have 3 bags of pb&j and 3 bags of sour grape Zoom 7" u-tail worms ( their the same color) you don't have enough plastics. If you don't have plum and plum/apple and plum/red and plum/blue, whatever , you don't have enough plastics. Come on man, get with it. The bait monkey is not doing his job. You need at least 30-40 more lbs. of plastics to catch up with us. Nice looking tackle though.

Great to see all the hard baits. And welcome to BR. Its my first answer. Lol. I would recommend pickin up some strike king zeros OR zman elaztek stickbaits. They float and are perfect for finicky bass when fished with a shaky head. Other than that, your box looks great, better than many who fished all of last year. Lol tight lines.

Just a heads up, that'll work for a while but if they get wet at all they'll generally start to peel or curl up. If you're looking for a way to label your boxes just use a sharpie. Write it on the inside of the compartments and it'll stay throughout the year if not longer. If you don't like your setup and want to change it, just use a little spit and little rub with your finger and it'll come off after a little bit.

OK... They are added to my list!   :)

I figure the inhibitor Pro Chips should keep my trays dry, and hooks sharp.
1 more small bait casket for another outside pocket of my tackle box.
Shad Wrap size 5 and 7 were on my list...
The Avenger was another recommendation to me.
The Weed Demons are my first Walk The Dog type baits...

I just needed some size 3 treble hooks.

And I wanted to try out some official swim jigs.
The Dirty Jigs looked good too.

well no for the house I have a few planos filled up with my main stash then a separate sealed Plano I fill accordingly prior to tourneys. So for the house I'd be straight.

The only thing I see is you need more plastics and upgrade to tungsten weights. Also may want to get a better selection of wide gap hooks for T-rigs

Rage Shads will be on my next order...

Glad I ordered my G2's when I did...

Now all 4 colors are back-ordered.

I just contacted TW to ask if the G2's arrived on the 22nd, like the web page indicates...

Answer: We have not received any updates from Black Dog, so the estimated arrival date is basically uncertain.

So I wrote Black Dog to ask when the promised 22nd G2's bound for TW, actually will make it out the door...

I also made sure they saw my 'click buy' date: Fri, Feb 7, 2014 **

Looking forward to how they respond.

Update about 5 minutes later: Hi Scott,
These should arrive the first week of March. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for your patience.
Jeremy

My response: Thanks for the response Jeremy, It's your fault that the G2 is so popular.
You guys simply made it catch too much fish!
Thanks again, and love Black Dog Baits.

Looks like March now on the G2's.

How do you like those Bass Mafia boxes. Im looking at getting some new ones. The ones I have now have seen better days for sure.

That's one heck of a box! I go to TB anonymous. "Tackle Buyers" My name is Tom and I am a tackle junkie.

Your  neatness is to be commended. But personally, IMHO, it's not much of a crankbait box unless you can pull AT LEAST 47 lipless crankbait out at once all stuck together and spend a 1/2 hour untangling them, while in the mean time, the sun has come out, the lakes gone flat, and that bite has died.

See your still missing the Rage tail shads, im going to continue to remind you to buy some until i see pictures :D

I am going to be clicking 'buy' on Monday...

Due to your recommendation I will be buying:

Strike King Rage Tail Shad 5pk Length 2.25" - $4.99

(1) Color: Pearl

Mend-It Glue - $0.99

(2) Little Brother 1/40oz

(1) Owner Weighted Twistlock CPS Hook 3pk 4/0 1/8oz - $4.99

I am not sure if I want weighted 4/0 swim bait hooks, or just 4/0 hooks...

Will the Owner Weighted Twistlock CPS Hook be 'the best' hook for this bait?

Do you have a favorite color on the Strike King Rage Tail Shad?

Thanks!
