I just got back from Dicks and I talked to a guy about the chronarch. He said that they are most likely to sell the chronarch anywhere from $100-160 once the new curado comes out. Lets just hope this is true....

looked today and not on sale yet .. hehe I went to academy, dicks and gander.. but I am also waiting on a quote from my local guy.. he is always a help.. getting 3 champs for 562 shipped to my door.. and I feel that is a great deal... I just didnt like the curado.. and I think.. if I wanted to change my whole arsenal to shimano or even diawa.. it would cost me a good 900 dollars.. including trading or selling my speed spools :(

Why do you have to change your whole arsenal? Just buy one first and if you like it great, if not you can sell it.

I've never seen a discontinued Shimano sale for 50% off. No idea where and how these rumors get generated. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath.

I see a few other guys have posted on this but my local Gander has their last Citica 200E for 69.99.... I bought the last 201E when it was 79.99....I shouldve waited!!! Oh well, keep lookin ya can find em...

That looks sharp ..

I am just saying if I did like it... the switch would be pretty expensive.. and I like my stuff to match as best as possible
