Super User Ratherbfishing Posted January 23, 2014 Super User Posted January 23, 2014 I noticed this starting a couple years ago. I actually liked seeing the specs and colors in the print catalog. I have a somewhat photographic memory for the written page that somehow doesn't completely translate when the same info is viewed on screen. Sign of the times, indeed... I love everything online, but I also love how tangible a book is - even of it's just fishing porn. I keep mine between the mattress and box springs. Quote
Avaitor63 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I got mine two weeks ago That's the Premium Fishing & Tackle Master and just received 2014 spring angler catalog Quote

Jaiden Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I miss the old catalogs where they listed every color, weight, size, etc. That actually helped me gather a list to buy every Spring Fishing Classic. Now it just tells me to go online. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 25, 2014 Super User Posted January 25, 2014 Received the Spring Fishing Catalog on Friday, January 24th. Now I have both. Waiting for the Marine catalog to show up. Quote
Slefler Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Too much of their own products, granted I understand it is THEIR catalog. I stick to TW if I want to drool over stuff and I like to be able to read the reviews on products. 1 Quote
ghost Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Finally got my BPS master catalog this past Friday. What can I say about it? It almost looks like the 2013 catalog with just a few new items. Overall, I'm disappointed. 1 Quote

Super User Goose52 Posted January 29, 2014 Super User Posted January 29, 2014 I not only got the 2014 Master Catalog in late December..............but I just got my SECOND 2014 Master Catalog today! I usually end up getting three of the Master Catalogs - I keep one in my den/office/bunker, one in the throne room, and one on the tackle bench in the garage... Quote
jhoffman Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Id prefer if they just start sending catalogs that are only 100% new products. I am going to buy whatever crankbaits I want regardless of price. I dont care that bps took the time to attempt to knock one off. Catalogs would be about 5 pages, once a year. Heres the brand new stuff, the rest youve seen 100000000 times over. Quote
