I left to go fishing around noon today. It was cold outside, but I thought it would be a good day to try out some retrieve cadences in hopes of catching a hybrid on a hard body jerk bait. When he bit he went to the rocks I just tired him out in the swift water and secured him at the bank.

Sweet. A little tip if you can get the sun in your face rather than at your back for a better pic.

Nice going!  Where did you put in/take out on the hooch?  I've only been on it a couple of times.  All around the johnson ferry/riverside dr area.

I just wish my cast would stop bouncing off the surface of the water! Nice fish!
