he carries his rods in a golf bag? :Idontknow:

Either this or someone stole his clubs......I'm guessing they are some nice sticks, that bag is worth $250-450 by itself.

Looks pretty standard to me. Was there supposed to be something special about these?

Couldn't tell you.

I saw this on another site, hadn't seen it here yet.  I believe there is some interested followers of the man's products.  So I posted it up.

Looks fairly basic to me too.

IMO, very cheapy and ugly looking.. Could be great reels though. I personally am going to go for the new curado and tatula's.

Agreed, it seems like a bad time to be coming out with a new line of reels if your name isn't Shimano or Daiwa.

Silly as it may sound, there are those that will buy this reel because it's not a Shimano or a Diawa and they will claim that it's just as good or better than Shimano's or Diawa's flagship reels.

Anyone know if this is a new design, or another Doyo reel, or what?

You know, if they actually balanced perfectly with the rods then I would understand. But seriously, look how ROD companies have come out or are coming out with reels.

AFAIK it's a Chinese reel.  There's a bit of speculation as to the actual manufacturer.  I've heard three different one, but have yet to talk to Boyd to confirm it.

I'm personally looking forward to the *** reels, a ton more than these... I didn't know Halo is coming out with reels either. Falcon Volt spinning reel is pretty trashy. My friend has one, didn't last long.

Halo has had reels out for awhile. They just aren't carried by TW lol. Also Zombie rods was rumored to come out with a reel too

Zombie was going to, but they lost a lot of money and almost went out of business so they had to postpone it. That's what I heard at least.

Their FB said they had some previous connections w/ pure fishing or something like that.. Not sure what that means though.
