Got out today for the first time of 2014.  I went this morning, but there were hunters on the water so I turned around and went home.  I went back at around 3 and it was deserted.  Caught 15 LMB before it got dark at 545.  Most were in the 18" range, but a couple of 22-24 inchers as well.  I was switching back and forth between a yo-zuri 3DB square bill in prism bluegill and a watermelon red/black flake tx rigged senko.  Overall, a very successful start to the year!

Well, I hiked around the pond, but left my phone in the truck.  With how they were biting, there was no way I was going to spend the 30 mins to go get it.  Next time.......

Those days happen. No phone, no pix, but lots of bass you wish were on "film".

Great day otherwise!

I had plans on going today, but life got in the way again. High temp here in West Tn today mid 60's and no wind. Perfect day and the rest of the week around 32 for a high.

So will just go to the Nashville Boat show Friday and look at new boats.

"Solid afternoon"

I was actually expecting pictures of 12-15inches of solid ice with a couple sad face emoticons.   Glad to hear otherwise!
