SnazzySenko Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Caught this today in Weston, FL in Savannah with my buddy. Surprised the fish were active with the cold weather we had. I caught two others but they were less than a pound. Scale read at 4.15 lbs but I think my scale is a bit broken, gonna have to check by measuring some dumbells. What do you think she/he weighs? Edit: Just tested the scale and its off by .76 (which is a lot so I'm gonna buy a new one) so it's a nice 5 lb bass! I don't catch many of those in the areas I fish so it's huge to me! 1 Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted January 19, 2014 Super User Posted January 19, 2014 Nice fish man by the looks of the spot in the background I bet there a much bigger in there definitely looks like it houses a double digit! What did you catch it on? Quote
SnazzySenko Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 I hope their is a double digit one! That'd be awesome to catch! And I caught it on a Texas rigged watermelon red senko. He jumped right on as it was sinking. Put up a pretty good fight too. Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted January 19, 2014 Super User Posted January 19, 2014 Weston was the place to be yesterday, I heard and saw. Too bad I couldn't make out there this weekend. Geo G, landed 3 5lbr's in row. The pics were nice. Quote
bocabasser Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 thats a 4 pounder for sure. great catch Quote
Super User geo g Posted January 20, 2014 Super User Posted January 20, 2014 Snazzy Senko, the senko types baits are a great way to go in Weston right now. The Okeechobee color in 4" by BPS has been hot for months in Weston. I hsd a great day Saturday with top five going almost 19 pounds. One of the best Weston days in months. 1 Quote
