Big Jon Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I'm the fish hear everything guy. Can't stand when you're fishing and your buddy is slamming boat compartments and walking around! I bank fish, but I have a buddy that will come stomping up hollering from a distance as I'm sight fishing the spawn, and watch all my fish disappear. Oh well, they weren't that big I guess. Quote
tbone1993 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Well the boat my dad and i had had to go when we moved but my cousins grandfather has a houseboat and a bass boat out on clinton so if my cousin and i wash the houseboat we can take the bass boat out so that is always treat that's not a bad deal either. My boat is only 35 min from garage to ramp...so I am fairly lucky for that. Clintons worth the drive I meant in his area there arent many small ponds / lakes worth the drive. For example lake of the woods( mahomet ) isnt worth the drive for him. Also take that boat out I would love to have a boat on the lake, I have to rely on friends. Quote

Homer is about 15 min away from me while clinton is about 45 min to an hour and since clinton is so big it is nearly impossible to fish from a bank so to me at the moment Homer is probablly the most conventional for me. But I have being finding some ponds and that has been a real treat since there was absolutley no ponds any where i Lived in CA but i do like clinton when i get the chance Im starting to think i should sneak out to the houseboat marina and cover that boat with mud to start having excuses to take the other boat out........ Fish'N Impossible Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 My partner is the Rage Fisherman, I'm Lucky Lure Larry, have tho have the right lure for the conditions, and my lucky ones always do the trick. Except when that other guy has the lures that's a little more lucky that day. Quote
aquaholic Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I am the mr. excuses guy, and probably a little bit of the rage guy. Ive never tossed anything but ive been known to yell out some 4 letter words if i lose a fish. Dont make a lot of excuses but i do buy red hooks. And one they forgot. I am the one more cast guy. 30 minutes later..... one more cast 1 Quote
coryn h. fishowl Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Every time i fish there is always a duck lady One woman at a local pond took this to an extreme, throwing bread balls directly at my lure...I cant count the times I've almost hooked a duck. She has a good arm for an old lady though...jeez. I love this video, someone posted a thread about it a couple months ago ...or maybe it was mentioned in one. Quote

Fish Murderer 71 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 TREE MAGNET! And if there's only two rocks next to each other in the entire lake, I'm going to get hung up and lose my t-rig in them! Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 Tree magnet for sure ... LOL Quote
Super User Teal Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 I think I've went through phases of most of those stereo types. Never really been the rage monster... Maybe a dialed down ike. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 28, 2014 Super User Posted January 28, 2014 Don't think I'm any of them. I never get excited when I catch a nice fish, I'm always disappointed it wasnt' bigger, see no smile like most of my fish pics. Quote
coryn h. fishowl Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm the tree magnet for sure! lol I'm the tree's nightmare...I will get hooked in one and pull out my remington sportsman fast fixed blade, climb up the thing and get it back. you would not believ the lengths I have gone to get a lure back. (e.g. climbing 45 feet up a honey locust tree to get a rapala back. just to show you who don't know what that is...take a gander.) Quote
Fabricator Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Every time i fish there is always a duck lady lol Reminds me of a time I was fishing off a dock, guy comes up with three labs. He sends all three into the water right next to me then says "you don't mind if the dogs swim right here do you?". Guess my response is why I've yet to see him or his dogs return. Quote
