Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Had a decent day yesterday for sure w/ safe ice @ 4" + in most spots...only got out for 3 hours because the first spot we were supposed to fish at was sketchy with only 3" of ice and some open water......not taking any chances........bass were definately chewin at our second spot...!!!......all fish on shiners and jigging.....FISH ON!!!!......best from today 3 Quote
hookset on 3 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Way to go Mitch. Great Day for the Jersey crew. Ever notice that bigger than average bass are caught through the ice? I think it's females that are starting to feed in order to nourish all the tiny eggs developing in the ovaries. You just don't see many dinks caught on tip ups, IMO. 1 Quote
