Might have a line on a few of these in the near future. I was wondering if they have any fans out there.

Gracias.

I've only thrown one a couple of times.  It seemed almost to light to cast compared to most jerkbaits and I was using a Daiwa SOL.  It might just be me though.  I like Jackall jerkbaits.

I've used them a couple of times when fish were holding in a little deeper than I could get to them with a regular jerk. I wish they'd make one in "Purpledescent".

(It's my favorite Rapala color for clear water - here's an XRap Shad in that color.)

I'm sure they work fine, but I am loath to try ANYTHING new by Rapala - too much inconsistency.  I'll stick to Staysees and Pointer DDs for now.

I'm just wondering if they are worth ~$5, which is what I could get them for.

I have one of the bigger sizes in Perch. It has awesome action and it's caught a few fish (nothing worth bragging about though).

For $5, I'd get as many as you can. I love the X-raps, especially the shallow shads.

If you're picky about how the run and sit in the water, you'll have to get a bunch of them to get a few that all behave the same.  If you're just looking for a bait to get in the zone, then that's a good deal.

Eh, maybe I'll pick them up and pass the savings on through the flea market.

Keep a few that I like and offload the rest.

ABSOLUTELY!

These are a close second to pointers for me, but the perch colored x-rap deep as caught as much or more then my pointers. Definitely stock up!

Also I am confused about an earlier post that said they seemed too light to cast??? Has anyone else had this problem? I can chuck them a mile

I'm probably just use to throwing my 100sp.

If Im fishing Jerk baits 95% of the time its Megabass or Lucky craft.. However Xraps are fish catchers and I have plenty in the box and have caught many many fish on the shads and jerk baits. thats a good deal on a good bait they dont suspend perfect like LC but hey there 1/3 the price and the action is really good.

I would buy them and go catch fish on them because that they will do! and ive caught some 7 and 8# fish on them.

And I dont know why your having a problem casting them, they cast like bullets for me.

I love the xrap series....but as mentioned they aren't super consistent and they don't suspend prefectly either.  Having said that though, they are fish catchin baits and are good for their price imo.

This may not be a X-Rap deep, but I have recently started using the X-Rap shallow slashbait YP and been killing the fish.  So, Rapala has done something right with this new line of lures!

I have mixed feelings about X-raps, I have caught way more fish on Husky Jerks. I don't use jerkbaits alot, so maybe it's me.
