Zach P Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I'm in need of some 1/2, 3/4, and 1 oz bullet weights for punching mats and general pitchin/flippin. Usually these prices can get steep for heavier weights, anyone know where you can buy some in bulk for cheaper prices? They don't need to have glossy finishes or unique colors Quote
Koofy Smacker Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Are you talking tungsten or lead? Quote
Zach P Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 I would prefer tungsten but don't mind lead Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I just ordered some of these. http://www.lurecraft.com/catalog.cfm/lead-products/jimric%60s-punch-weights:2805 Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 http://www.alleystungsten.com Really really good prices Quote
Super User MCS Posted January 12, 2014 Super User Posted January 12, 2014 Some y'all might have higher standards but Walmart some cheap ones that are ok some do have rough ish edges. The two I found best are water gremlin(best part made in USA from recycled lead) and bps has good value painted ones that are as nice as the SK tungsten but are lead. Quote
Volboy Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 http://www.alleystungsten.com Really really good prices X2 here and a really good guy too Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted January 13, 2014 Super User Posted January 13, 2014 I can't seem to make payment through alleys. Was really looking forward to ordering some tonight. Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted January 14, 2014 Super User Posted January 14, 2014 iabass and volboy are right on target. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted January 14, 2014 Super User Posted January 14, 2014 I've used Alley's for a while now. Never had any issues with the product. Quote
The Commodore Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Thanks guys for letting me know about Alley's, I have stayed away from tungsten because of the price but now I can find the price reasonable. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted January 14, 2014 Super User Posted January 14, 2014 BPS has both Tungsten and lead just wait until their spring sale. Tungsten weights are expensive so I use them sparingly. A 1oz weight is at least $5 for a unpainted one. Allen Quote
IntroC Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Alley is good. Another is http://fishermensheaven.com. They also have great deals on tungsten weights. Plus free shipping. Quote
Gaerith Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 How does Alley 1oz weights compare to Siebert's 1oz punching rigs? Quote
smbrule! Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I've used Bass Team Tackle tungsten weights. Reasonably priced. http://www.bassteamtackle.com/Tungsten_Weights.html Quote
