I know I've been posting and researching a lot recently about spooling up some spinning reels and was wondering what you guys have to say about your favorite fluorocarbon line for a spinning reel. I think I'm going to use #6 line.

Another topic... does the color of braided line really matter?

Pretty much have to get online but I have had great success with Silver Thread flur. Have used for many years.

If the cost is of not concern, #6 Tatsu, Otherwise, #10 InvizX.

I usually use braid and a leader, but recently I spooled one of my spinners up with trilene xl pro grade 100% fluoro and have been quite impressed.

I'm using InvisX and Tatsu, in 6# diameter.  I've got one season with Tatsu, and four with Invisx.  No reason to switch at this point.

I've not used everything out there but I like Seaguar stuff.

My favorite is berkley trilene pro grade 100% fluorocarbon. I have used stren fluorocast and haven't had any problems with it.

x2. For me it pretty much just depends how much I've spent on the rest of my order when I'm buying line to respool. Tatsu is frequently on sale these days, so it's not quite as pricey as it used to be (still considerably more than Invizx). You won't lose either way.

.

Please let me know how this line turns out as I was interested in it. I know trilene fluoro doesn't get the best rep but I have a spool of 12lb that is great. A spinning reel specific fluoro interests me.
