11.9* at my house at 6:15AM on Tuesday, January 7th.

 

Winds at 12MPH so wind chill around 5*.

 

9* is being called for as the low in Richmond, Virginia today.

 

What is your temperature and how low did it get???

Current temp is 16 degrees.  Forecast is for 8 degrees tonight.  A couple of days like this, then it's supposed to warm up to highs around 40 for the weekend.

Right now it is -3 degrees.  Yesterday it was -7 degrees, but it warmed all the way up to +2 degrees.

I left my hot water trickling out of the kitchen faucet last night so it wouldn't freeze,i guess is should have left the cold side trickle a little also because it ain't coming out.

Believe it's five here this morning. Supposed to get in the fourtys wed and thurs. So glad...going to go fishing. Five is a bit chilly for this ol man.

85 here in Ocho Rios yesterday. be about the same today, and tomorrow, and the next day , etc,etc,,,,

we really picked the right week to go on vacation.

When Lynn & I do  pre-dawn trips to a few somewhat distant & low lying lakes, it's not unusual for the air temps to be in the high 30's or low 40's when we launch ~ in June.

Started out at -4 with 10 to 15 mph winds at 5 am , so far we have recovered , +1 with winds still 10 to 15 , expected to reach a high of 16 today , wwwooohhhooo !!!

If the pipes are frozen, I'd recommend shutting the water off at the main, opening the faucets, crank up the heat, and if you can find where they are frozen hit it with a hair dryer(not literally) :grin:

Here in Aiken SC, it was a balmy 9 at 6 this morning. I'm not complaining last week I was visiting family in WV a couple mornings were sub zero.

I have -4, with a -24 wind chill.  Last night, it was around 95 next to the fire.

40 degrees right now with a forecasted high of 45 and rain.  That's pretty much the same forecast every day for the next 10 days.  That's a normal winter pattern here.

Too cold and very cold! Me no likey! Sunday might get to 60* hopefully ice will be gone and I will be fishing!

Was -14 when I got up at 4am this morning, was "up" to - 2 at 8am, but dropped back down to -6 now, with a windchill of - 37. Coldest I have seen........perhaps ever.
