Super User flyfisher Posted January 7, 2014 Super User Posted January 7, 2014 I have gone the past three years and each year i wondered why so this year i am going to skip it. I do like the seminars and seeing some gear but for the most part it felt like a flea market with boats and a few fish tanks. Hope all you guys have fun though Quote
Champfishnva Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 count me in thanks for the reminder!!!!- Quote

Hope all you guys have fun though Ive felt the same way over last couple years....nothing like it use to be 10+yrs ago. I will take that weekend just to hit local shops like BPS and Greentop as the usually have some small sales going on at that time. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 8, 2014 Super User Posted January 8, 2014 Never been to one but hoping to at least go and see the sites , take in a seminar or two , best shot would be Saturday , where can I find a complete schedule and cost for parking , entrance fee etc... Quote

Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 8, 2014 Super User Posted January 8, 2014 Check the site out for more info : http://richmondfishingexpo.com/ Thanks !!! They don't have the schedule worked out yet but , David Fritts ? Hell yeah !! Also got Randy Howell and John Crews listed to speak , sounds like it's gonna be interesting . Quote
Bigbarge50 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 It can be a little flea market-ish but I make sure to talk to the vendors and see what they are selling lots of and colors and such. With that and the speakers, get a lot of info. Think it beats most other type of expos I have been at, which the info is real blah with no pros Quote
Hanover_Yakker Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I hope you guys will stop by the Appomattox River Company setup. You won't be able to miss it. It will have a huge kayak display and my Pro Angler will be on display. I'd love to meet a few of you guys. O'll have on a red Hobie hat and a blue Hobie Columbia fishing shirt. I will be there all three days. Quote
