Got1Fishing Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I have found most of my confidence to come from Sweet Beavers and d Bombs. I just ordered a bunch of Berkley Havoc Ike Devil Spears and I'm hoping to build confidence with these since they are very versatile baits. Quote
ColdSVT Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I have a stockpile of sweet beavers...some guys hoard ammo but i hoard sweet beavers lol Hematoma, magic craw swirl and california 420 are my faves 1 Quote

Super User Montanaro Posted January 8, 2014 Super User Posted January 8, 2014 dbombs are phenomenal Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted January 8, 2014 Super User Posted January 8, 2014 Another vote for the R.I. beavers. I am finding I use the smallie beaver almost as much as the sweet beaver. I like fried watermelon , blacklight, black/red, white trash(on a shakeyhead), and smoke/red flake. Edit: I use the smallie beaver only on a shakeyhead. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 8, 2014 Global Moderator Posted January 8, 2014 Havoc Pit Boss, Netbait B-bug, YUM woolie bug, and Zman Palmetto Bug for me. Quote
wisconsin heat Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Pitboss baby! That is my favorite anyway, but I will pitch/flip just about any plastic. Quote
Slade House Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Missle Bait Baby D Bombs in Green Pumpkin have out fished any sweet beaver or smallie beavers (420 cali color, etc) for me. Texas rigged with a g lock hook and a green tungsten bullet weight has just killled it this winter for me. I agree that reaction's beaver's and berkley's havoc craw are excellent , but missile bait baby d bomb works on tough and finicky bass in clear water in the dead of winter when nobody else is catching zip Quote
hawghunters Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Another vote for the Reaction Innovation Sweetbeavers here Quote
pbizzle Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Nobody's mentioned the Big Bite Baits YoMamma. I love them. Easily my most successful beaver bait. I use the 4" on a texas or carolina rig and the 3" as a jig trailer. I can't praise these baits enough. Quote
