Anyone own the shimano chronarch ci4+ looking to pick one up. Any insight on it would be great thanks everyone

I have one and love it.  It is very, very smooth.  I set my interior brakes with two on and the exterior dial on three and it seems to work great for Senkos.  The reel has anti rust bearings, but the spool bearings are the same size as the regular Shimano spool bearings (BNT 0194) in the event you want to change them to a higher ABEC.   I recommend that you clean the spool bearings and relube them with a tiny drop of quality reel oil (I use Yellow Rocket Fuel) when you get one because they have a ton of lube in them out of the box.  Also be aware that there are two bearings under the cast control cap.  The bearings are excellent and I have not seen a need to change them.  The reel weighs 6.5oz and I have it on a BPS Carbonlite 6'6" MH micro guide rod, which weighs 3.9oz, so it is a very comfortable combination to throw all day.

Used mine for the first time today. I have around 20 Shimano BC reels,(Curados, Citicas, and 3 older model Chronarchs). The new Ci4 is easily the nicest feeling, looking, and casting reel I own.

Ordered one yesterday. It will ship today. I will have it by mid week. Can't wait to try it out.
