I got some from the Xmas exchange this year. I got to test one out for a hour or so before all the water froze over here this week. They are certainly fast sink and they look awesome IMHO.

Fast sink. Almost would call it very fast sink. Good baits fo the money though. I have caught some fish on them.

These baits a somehwhat fast sink rate. We spent a long time making these baits and there are well worth the money.  Let me know what you think of them when you are able to chunk some. 8-)

Please do Fishhunter, I've purchased the sunfish kit, and haven't had too many opportunities to get them wet

Hi guys....my name is Brian. I help design and build Academy's H20 Xpress line of items as well as Marine Raider and Tournament Choice. I am glad yall are taking a liking to the jointed baits. We really worked hard on them and they came out better than expected, and have sold better than expected. Also nice to see them showing up in Ohio and Illinios as we have no stores located near there. I like to google our items once they hit the stores and see what people like or don't like about them, and of course I stumbled across this forum. Very nice Forum site and very welcoming members. Look forward to being a regular on this forum 8-)

Welcome from another member.  Will you plan to offer these other places besides Academy?  I wouldn't mind picking up  the shad series of swimbaits.   I am liking the colors that is in the kits

Ahh yes, us Union State members like to remind the rebels who's boss. So once in a while we make them send us Academy H20 lures. Now if we can just make the owner of Academy sell online or build stores in non rebel territory.

Maybe you should talk to Glen about becoming an advertiser here .

Guys we should be selling online late March/early April.  We originally anticipated for our new e-commerce buisness to be up and running already, but needed to work out a few more bugs.   Its coming.. :)

That would be nice. For some strange reason, there's no Academy in the Atlanta area.  :-?

Fishunter, choose your words wisely on here. The mods do not like for people to sound like they are advertising on here if they do not have permission to do so. Not saying you did but just be careful. I have a lot of those swimbaits btw and I love em. Are you also involved with the rest of the cranks from H2O? I have a ton of H2O cranks and they are made very well. I notice the similarities in a lot of H2O's compared to other baits. The LCR for example is very very similar to the SPRO Aruku shad.

This is good advice FISHUNTER. If you would like to become an advertiser, please contact Glenn.

By the way, welcome to Bass Resource.

I really like these h2o lures, I have been to academy 2 times in Jan and spent over 100 bucks on just h20 lures, they look great. Haven't had much time to try them yet, but really looking forward to it. Couldn't find the bluegill color alone so had to buy the kit, trying to git rid of the tilapia color on ebay, looks similar to a crappie.

I have an academy outdoors about 20 mins from my house and I have been using thier H20 line of baits since they opened. Very good quality for a house brand. I have made friends with the fishing manager there and he keeps me informed of new baits that are released thier. I was the first to have the bream and the shad swimbaits. I have caught a few schooling bass on the shad color swimbaits. I have only practiced with the Bream color swimbaits but I am impressed with their action. I own Tru Tungsten and Spro swimbaits as well and the difference is definately in two categories. The H20 has a faster sink, which is what I like for deeper water, even faster than the fast sink version of the TT and Spro swimbaits. The Tru Tungsten and Spro both sit on thier hooks when the rest on the bottom of the pond or lake. The H20 bait lands nose up. Both have their advantages when fishing them on bass beds. H20 line definately has the color advantage, I love the bluegill color :). I just wish H20 line would expand this bream color to their other line of hardbaits such as the Jerkbait, Topwater, or Crank. In the next few months, the swimbait bite will pick up and I will definately post pics.

Yea, I would like to see that color on a few more baits also. the only thing i don't like about the bluegill swim bait is the nose is points a little to high during retrieval, I guess that comes from sinking fast.

These sunfish lures are the best looking jointed lures on the market. Where did you get them made.

My better half is a manager at Academy. Love that place!!

Love the H2O baits too. I just picked up 10 of the square bill (forgot the model) the other day. It sucks when you break part of a bill of the only one in a certain color the fish like!! Great hooks and finish on them.
