Mike D from Lunkerville Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Happy New Year friends at BR! I wanted to give you a heads up that the South Bend's Lunkerville broadcasts begin today, January 2nd at 2pm EST on NBC Sports and air every Thursday through July. The airings will also continue on World Fishing Network. Look for BR's own Glenn "Clark Kent" May in an upcoming show if you haven't seen it already. And as always, thank you for your support! 2 Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted January 2, 2014 Super User Posted January 2, 2014 This is great to hear! Thank you! Because if I have to sift through 3,000 listings of hunting shows anymore to find a decent fishing show I'm going to go berserk. I have nothing against hunting at all but holy crap you guys get spoiled with shows. I'm not ponying up for WFN with Comcast, they can go.... But, it is the new year and hopefully the pre-spring fishing shows start back up between NBCSports and Outdoor Channel. 3 Quote
fowlskies Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I love your show only problem is I work till 5. Do they re-air it on NBC Sports at another time for us 9-5 people? I have been enjoying last season's episodes that you posted the link to though. Thanks! Quote
Mike D from Lunkerville Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 fowlskies… if you don't have a DVR, you can watch this season's shows here…. but shhhhh, don't tell anybody… this is a BR exclusive link. http://rockville.tv/Lunkerville_Season_8/Season_8.html 2 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted January 3, 2014 Super User Posted January 3, 2014 Dadgum NBCSports TV. I totally and 100% agree with MarkH024. WAAAAAY too many hunting shows, and not enough fishing shows. I mean come on, you dumped Larry Dahlberg, Shaw Grigsby, and countless others and kept Charlie Moore's "show"? I'm glad Lunkerville is there. Relief at hand. 2 Quote
fowlskies Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Thanks Mike you are the man! I love the basis of your show, it's a breath of fresh air from the over commercialized pros. Quote
Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted January 3, 2014 Super User Posted January 3, 2014 Mike D I watched the "Grandma Lake" episode and looked for the Kinchou Minnow. I found them locally and bought one Chromatic Shiner SMDS7 1/4oz. If you remember what size and color was used on the show? Thanks Quote
Mike D from Lunkerville Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Quake, I really couldn't tell you… sorry… it was Andy's lure… that is a great crank bait and affordable. Quote
simplejoe Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Love the show Mike. I have the dvr set to record your show for a couple years now. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 3, 2014 Super User Posted January 3, 2014 Congrats on another season, Mike! Quote

NathanW Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 This is great to hear! WFN is no good anyways... Its mostly all fly fishing, deepsea fishing, Salmon, trout, and infomercials 1 Quote
HeavyDluxe Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Congrats on the new season, Mike... And thank you *so* much for the improvements to the website - particularly the ability to stream for those of us who don't get cable or satellite where we live. Love the show, especially the emphasis on fun/tactics rather than equipment... In a marketing world gone wild, it's a great departure! Quote

Super User Teal Posted February 13, 2014 Super User Posted February 13, 2014 I just caught the last 15 mins of the Lunkerville episode featuring Glenn. It was very good. It was awesome to put a face and a personality on the man. Thanks Glenn for all you do. Quote
bmac31 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Hey Mike love the show. I was watching the show before I was a BR member, I had no idea you were intill I saw a post you made shortly after I joined. Thats when I realized how special BR really is, I never expected to get such high quality of advice from people like yourself on a message board. And seeing Glenn on there was awesome. Thanks to both you,Glenn and all the other guys for making a new bass angler feel very welcome and for making fishing fun and cool. Quote
