Super User AK-Jax86 Posted December 30, 2013 Super User Posted December 30, 2013 My biggest of the year weighed 7lbs 7oz caught on a magnum pop'r. My longest of the year was 24" back in the summer on a tsunami or berkley swimming shad I or get which brand. Me, and two other members of this site all fish together and caught our PB all within 3 days it was pretty cool 27-29th talk about close to the end of the year and all on pop'r too. Quote
EvanT123 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 My first catch of the year was probably my biggest. I don't currently weight fish but I'm sure this was the biggest. Caught 4/16/13 This is a pretty good one from mid August. 1 Quote
dsidle61 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Funny bc mine came about a week ago and also happen to be the biggest of my life. Caught this 8lb 3oz on the popr. to get an idea of the length that measuring ruler its laying on is 24" long. 1 Quote
basshole8190 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I kind of had a down year on green fish with the biggest just under 5 lbs and second being 4.6 lbs however I've caught some pretty nice linesides with more over 10 than I've caught under 10 and 3 in the 20 lb range and a few trophy shoal bass caught in the flint river 1 Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I set three new PB this year. A 14 in. -1.5 lb. Perch (caught while fishing for Smallmouth) A 7 lb. Smallmouth A 53.5 inch Musky I am going to be honest. I don't anticipating beating any of these PB for the rest of the life let alone in the next year (except for maybe the Perch, which was caught by total accident anyway) 5 Quote
moguy1973 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Sadly I couldn't get out fishing as much as I wanted to this year, and when I did I went stream small mouth fishing and those don't tend to get that big around here. My biggest green bass was a 2lb 1oz Spotted bass and my biggest brown bass was a 1lb 7oz smallie. Our local lake where we've caught bigger fish drained itself towards the end of the summer and that put the kabosh on any large fish being caught this year for the most part. Quote
Brent Christian Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Right around 5 lbs several 3 1/2- 4 Quote
Jon G Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 This year i didnt get to fish much until summer due to having to move from SoCal to illinois so for the past 6 months ive had to experiement with the seasons since they are so different but i did manage to get a 7.1lb on a havoc pit boss and a 6 on some berkley powerbait swimbait. http://www.flickr.com/photos/106702598@N08/11723215233/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/106702598@N08/11723332594/in/photostream/ 1 Quote
