Super User rippin-lips Posted December 29, 2013 Super User Posted December 29, 2013 Made this today with less then $4 in materials minus the pieces of 2x4. I made it to be screwed down to my work bench but until I get it where I want it,it's portable. It's ugly but works. Slide your spool of line on and tighten the wing nut down to the proper tension. Set it on the floor and begin spooling. Feel free to move if it's in the wrong section. 1 Quote

GaterB Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 This is great. Gotta do this myself! I hate bothering family members and friends to hold line for me while I spool it on my reels Quote

Super User rippin-lips Posted December 30, 2013 Author Super User Posted December 30, 2013 I wouldn't really consider that a DIY section since it's all based around making lures, baits, rods but thanks for the heads up. Quote
