Thanks Dwight - it's a pretty nifty reel...................as you well know!

Wow! that thing is so pretty I don't know if I could fish with it. Good luck Goose...but be careful with the pictures. Folks will be looking at the reel and miss the fish!

Technically, my Christmas gear was in the form of an "oops" click-to-buy Chronarch 50e a few months back... I offered Christmas and even my birthday in 2014 as compensation for the deed. My wife agreed to Christmas

So 'twas an early Xmas gift for me.

I've got a couple of these type of spendy reels now...I fish them, but only from the bank.  I still can't bring myself to fish them from the boat and somehow "cast" them into the lake.

Once the PQ 5-Year Challenge is over, I'll have more time to put some mileage on these Princess reels...

Haha was it an "oops"? Or was it more like "Here's the button I was looking for!"

Shhh. Dadgummit. My wife might read this forum.

Was actually, let's call it, auction roulette. And I won, though I never thought I would. So I had to explain it and grovel.

My wife gave me new Cabela's Duck boots and a Strike King Sexy Swimmer.  My parents got me some clothes from tackle warehouse. And my sister and her boyfriend got me senko's and zara spooks.  My family knows me too well!

My wife is always good to me at christmas but she also knows that the big things are best if I pick them out myself.  This year I took advantage of the $100 off plus $50 bass bucks sale at BPS on the 100MPH suits.  Got a full set of bibs and long jacket.  Spendy but wow, really really nice.  After fishing tournaments through a couple downpours last year and getting some tears in the Frogg Toggs, it was time for a good rain suit.

I'm not sure who produced the m1. it's at my parents (shared gift with my dad) I'll have to ask for serial.

my girlfriend got me a lexa100 reel...goes great with the ***

I've been collecting M1 carbines for about 20 years now.  Feel free to shoot me a pm if you want any background info on the manufacture of your rifle, SN range, production date, etc.  Enjoy it and keep it in the family!

My wife bought my entry fee into my first ever bass fishing tournament this spring.  I have always wanted to enter one, but never have.  I was blubbering like a baby!!! :cry4: Am really excited, but so thankful I have such a wonderful wife and family that cares enough to support the things I enjoy doing.  Can't wait for April to roll around!!!  :respect-059:

I didn't get anything fishing related, which was aright with me THIS YEAR...... My wife and I got over $300 in Home Depot gift cards to help us in fixing up our garage. Going to build a workbench and some shelves for all of my tools and fishing equipment .

I got some really nice aluminum P-line pliers with titanium cutters, a rod slick, a Buck folding knife, a couple gift cards to BPS and Academy, and some new fishing shirts. Of course none of it beats getting to bring our son home on Christmas Eve!

No hat I was just happy to get a picture of him with my son. He was in line at customer service and I hated to bother him, but he ended up talking to us like he knew who we where... Real nice guy!

Santa brought me my 2014 fishing license but the only fishing items were from our BR gift exchange (Ghoti), which is why I love to participate. I do too well of a job buying myself gear all year long, so my wife figures she should buy me some work clothes so I quit wearing the same pair of pants every day

I got a couple Rapalas, a Lew's tournament speed spool with a mojo bass pitchin pole to go with it. Then my parents surprised me with a trip to Lake Okeechobee.

I did not receive any fishing gear but the wife and I took that money we were going to spend on things we didn't need and bought a more modern TV to replace the rear projection tv.  We bought an LG 55" LED tv.

I wanna know what all your bass addicts like me got under the tree!?!

My wonderful girlfriend got me a GoPro Hero 3 black with remote and A Pro qualifier rain gear jacket (bibs will come next month for my birthday) a new pair of NB sneakers because I am always b****in about my lower back after a long day on the deck in the junk shoes I buy.

 .

So lets hear it!!

I also got a go pro hero 3. But I'm hesitant to open it after reading all the horrifying 1 star reviews on amazon.

It was after Christmas, but close enough.  I turned 270 dollars into 300 dollars in a matter of a few minutes.

Tackle Warehouse had a ten percent discount on gift cards.  I sprung for the 270 dollars to get a 300 dollar gift card.  I have a shopping list in preparation for the Road Trip to Wilson Lake.  I'm pretty certain that TW will have one of their 20% off sales between now and then.  When they do, I'll spend that gift card in the blink of an eye.
