I don't recall missing 10 days this year, but I'll be conservative a call it 340 days.  Everyday starts in saltwater, there is no exception and I may only be out 4 hours counting driving time, I'm 30 minutes from most locations. Then it's freshwater in the afternoons, fishing times vary 1-3 hours usually.  Next year will be less as I'm planning a lengthy trip that will not include fishing, I could do 1 day charter.

Living in south Florida it's ideal for fishing.  On weekends I go out in the everglades in the boat.  Almost everyday I  fish one of seven small lakes in Weston Florida from the shore.  All lakes have a nice supply of black and peacock bass.  Probably fish 250 days a year.  Great to live in South Florida.

108 days between April 27th and November 1st. Considering Michigans Bass season started on April 27th, that's not to shabby!!

Sounds like a lot but 60% were bass under a pound caught in stocked ponds. All of these were your Tiger bass that attack any thing you throw.

As I recently retired I have the luxury of going out almost every day. If I average it I come up with about 120 days give or take. I wish I could stand ice fishing, but my accuracy diminishes greatly when I'm drunk

My average used to be over a 100 times per year with half of that being afternoons and the other half being all day.  Since I started a new business two years ago that is way down.  It's less than 30 days this year and most of those were in the spring.

I'm torn between hating you, and wanting to grow up to be you...:)

When you say "days" thats the part that people interpret different. I look at my fishfinders at the end of the year, divide the hours by 8 and thats how many "true days" I fished that year. I dont count going out and fishing for 3 or 4 hours a day as being a day of fishing. A tournament day to me is a true day. That said this past year I spent 55 some off "days" on the water

2013 was my first year fishing. Grand total came to 5 days! Free time is scarce, so I'll be happy if I get 20 next year. I'm jealous of all of you.

Actual day on te lake fishin trips I'm lucky if I get 12 a year. Just fishin from shore for and hr or so I maybe do that 3-4 times a month. Either way not near enough but hopefully that will all soon change. :-)

I'm in the same boat.

My season here in Ohio is general early April to Late October. during that season I hit the lake 4 times a week rasin snow or shine. so 120 days a year no give me a minute to check.....

Accourding to my logs I actually only made it out 112 times last year. I am blessed I guess to spend that much time on the water, and have to thank a very understanding and supportive wife for that too.

Unfortunately we get freezes here so i also have to spend 4monthes straight off the water too...not a fair trade in my opinion.

HAHA, just a perk of retirement.  The flip slide, countless times I had to leave the water or golf course to see an account or couldn't get a way in the first place.  I go thru heavy withdrawal without at least one fish day.

Last year I only went out 27 times between March and the end of Sept. Usually spent between 6 and 10 hours on the water depending on how the bass were biting, and if I was by myself or not.  I can't wait for retirement!

50 maybe, more realistically 40 some,  I don't know it is depressing to think about.  Basically I go every time I have the time, a few times this past year I had the time and wimped out because of weather.
