SK 1/2 oz Pro Model in black/blue with black blue flake Rage chunk. I will start with this combo 90% of the time.

I also have some Seibert jigs coming soon that I can't wait to try. Sounds like they could become my go-to.

I can't tell.

But it involves  a 1/2 ounce jig made by *** and a Rage Lobster.

Ok - I guess I can tell.

Siebert brush jig(various colors) tipped with a R.I. smallie beaver. I usually start out with a 3/8 but probably fish a 1/4 oz more.

I made my own jigs this year using the Lureparts 1822 milfoil/dock jig heads, and boss skirts from TW, and like them better than any store bought jig I have ever had. I use two trailers, beavers and paca craws. I like the baby paca craws as a jig trailer better than the paca chunks, plus, the added versitility of being able to use them t-rigged by them self if the jig bite is not on. Keeps the amount of plastics I carry around to a managable pile.

Google Terry Oldham's Jigs!

In my opinion a jig is only as good as the hook, head design, & weed guard.

The 5/0 Sawish Salmon Hook is the absolute strongest hook on any jig made by anybody.

The head is designed to penetrate the thickest cover & come out cleanly

The weed guard is as good as any

Skirts, I don't concern myself with cause I'll change em regardless of whose jig I use.

My go to jigs are: SK Pro Model Jig in sexy craw matched with a Havoc Rocket Craw in Perfection green fleck.  I also like this jig/trailer combo in black n blue also.

My second favorite is a Terminator Pro model jig in Electric blue matched with a  Havoc Pit Boss (cut down to trailer size) in Perfection blue fleck.

1/4 - 1/2oz brush jig with RT Rage Craw or RI Sweet Beaver. I use an arkie jig quite frequently as well.
