I'm in the process of upgrading my website to a new site with a ton of new neat features.  So to utilize some of these features I'm looking for everyone's input since you are the customer.  I want to make ordering easier and more convenient.  Please feel free to comment or make suggestions on the below.

Jig heads.  To keep clutter down would you all like to see a section that said Brush Jig head.  Then from there you would select the hook you would like?  Price would automatically change accordingly.

This would also be the same for Jigs with eyes.  You could select the Blind Date Jig and turn it into a eyed jig.

Would this be easier or more confusing?

I can also program the site for the jig series like this.  I can make it where you select a Brush jig.  Then you would select the hook you would want along with skirt color and weight.

Your thoughts?

Mike it would be nice to see the skirt colors on the same page as the order details for size & head colors. That way you can complete the order without having to scroll thru multiple pages to see what you like/want.

When developing a new website I keep KISS in mind.  Keep It Stupid Simple.  With that said I would recommend the following hierarchy.

1 - Jig type (grass, football, brush etc.)

2 - weights - what weights are available for that particular head.

3 - hook size - based on the weight and type you will have some hook options possibly.  Default hook if no other options.

4 - colors - jighead

5 - Skirt

I also agree with the suggestion about seeing the skirts from the same place I am selecting the jig.

Hope this helps

Felix77,  That line up you posted is pretty much if not exactly how I have it set up currently except for the hook type.  I'm pretty sure I'll be adding that also due to keep from having 3-4 brush heads in different hook models.

I will also be adding a skirt chart to each jig page. That way like Dwight stated having to scroll through.

I believe I will be adding eyes the same way on certain styles.

I think the site is great as is, the only thing i'd like to see is more color choices for the living rubber. I know it would not be cost effective to have every color, but maybe add a blue, green, and a purple so you could get a MATA jig in pbj with purple living rubber or a black with green or an okeechobee with blue living rubber. Maybe I just need to talk to you about custom jigs!

Sounds like your right on point, pal.

While I like the current site........the changes you have outlined will make it even better.

And while free is nice......nothing is free......someone is always picking up the difference.

I think your pricing is very fair if not leaning towards favorable for the buyers.

I vote for your very fair pricing and then add the shipping on. I don't think the shipping is out of line either......very fair.

Not a biggie, but, the only thing I would request is allow me to add as many items to my cart before sending me to paypal if you can. Maybe make an option to checkout?

I agree, sometimes I'll add stuff to my cart and then just go browsing the site and when it comes time to checkout, my time has expired and I have to go back and add everything again.

I'd like the option to see the colors of the heads and skirts in a large view.

When ordering heads, anyway we could get a larger option for heads with a discount. Like if we bought 20 heads etc?

I'm considering getting rid of paypal and going with credit card only orders.  That in itself would get rid of the switching back and forth from paypal.  I do not know for sure on this one yet.

Rockchalk06  that is a possibility to do in the programing and I'm looking to add that also.  I would probably have to max out the packs to a 25 pk.

Tom,  I think it has a wishlist.  I know a customer has the ability to set up a login or just order outright.  I'll try and find out for sure.
