On what television show did Dash Rip Rock appear from time to time?  That'll be a toughie on the youngsters.

There are two correct answers.

Please, give us a hard one.

In its early years, the Today Show had a mascot.  What was it, and what was its name?  Who was the morning anchor during that time.

The Howdy Doody show had two Indian (native American) chiefs and one princess.

What were their names?

There was also an animal character that was an amalgam of several animals.  It might have been a duck billed platypus.

What was its name?

How early ? the show had a couple of mascots did it not ?

The earliest one I can think of was a chimp named mugs ,  I am too young to have seen the show but I remember black and white episodes ( re-runs ) in the late 60's , the host of Today show , I can not remember .

It was a chimp, whose "last name" was Muggs.  I let the spelling slide.  But for full credit I need the full name.

Thunderthud was on regularly.  The other not as often.  I think they may have been cousins

Thunderthud had a common expression that was later adopted by some on the west coast.  Do you remember what it was/is?
