Cryoglobin Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Does anyone know where I can get crystal clear plastic worms, or in absence of a worm, shad, fluke, etc? Quote
Super User Catt Posted December 15, 2013 Super User Posted December 15, 2013 Try Barlow's Tackle * Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted December 15, 2013 Super User Posted December 15, 2013 How many are you wanting? Quote
BenB54 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Check out Paul Krew custom hand poured baits. He'll pour any color you want or in your case, lack of color. Quote

Comfortably Numb Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 PM me what you need more specifically. Prob is keeping clear plastic clear after reheats. It tends to yellow a bit. Quote
Cryoglobin Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Not sure why you need a total lengths worth? I dont. I need a number if 1 to 2 inch pieces. The easiest way to express what was in terms of a normal sized worm, rather than to tell him I needed 15 1.5 inch lengths. Quote

I see..................that's much easier to under stand ..........WHAT?!?!?!? 1 Quote
Cryoglobin Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 What are 1.5 inch worms used for? To texas rig a wacky rig.......... Have a weed problem, the standard weedless hooks were not exactly weedless. So I used a small piece of worm texas rigged on a wacky rig. It actually worked much better for the weeds, but it's pretty unnatural and cumbersome looking. So, I am looking to use some "invisible" clear worms to help the presentation Quote
wnybassman Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Starting to become clearer.....................I think. Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted December 17, 2013 Super User Posted December 17, 2013 If you can't locate the worms, would clear tubing work. Must hardware stores sell it, down to 1/16 Quote
wnybassman Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 What you need to do is have someone make a nifty little silicone mold for a size/profile that exactly meets your needs. Quote
