We had three on the ground already and got another 6 today. This will be the first Christmas since 2002 that we have had enough to cover the grass. Unless we hit a major warm up we could have ice on the lakes thick enough to fish by Christmas as well!

My area is a protected valley, we miss almost all the good stuff. Just north of me usually gets double. It stopped at 7 and turned into sleet.

That 3" we got on thursday already disappeared yesterday.

Still aint stopping us, we've still been fishing, trout at least

A guy in our reenacting group was a NG 1st Sgt who spent a lot of time at Ft Drum. He swears it's on the North Pole and not in NYS.

He's probably right. I just got home and had to shovel my way into the driveway and down to my front door this 20* felt nice and warm I even took off my jacket.

That's about what we got here on Saturday morning.  6" of wet, heavy snow.
