How To See Behind My Boat

I'm facing a serious neck operation that will limit my ability to turn my head .I want some way so I can see behind me and maybe some to the left and right .I have a Ranger Z520c bass boat .Some of my thoughts are mirrors I know some ski boats have these ,Another solution is a camera and screen that I can see behind my boat . Can you get a water proof monitor.  I know the lens part they make water proof.

 

Anything I mount I want to look nice and not tacky.

 

Anyone have any ideas .I fish tournaments and at the landing seeing all around you is a real safety issue as well as driving during take off for that matter at all times.

 

Do not just want to give up.

Ski mirrors should work great.

They make water/weather proof back up camera's for farm equipment cabs, we have them on several machines.  You could mount the camera on your outboard cowling, and the screen on your dash.  http://www.abilenemachine.com/cab-camera-kits/

A while back I got use to twisting at the hips with a slight neck turn and looking over. Even with mirrors I still have that 'see with my own eyes' mentality

I'd get a faster boat, then you can pretty much assume everyone is behind you.
