ive been looking on ebay and ive seen some crazy deals for soft plastics even though there mainy hand pored stuff but still ive seen stuff like 10 bucks for a bag of 100 senkos and 5 bucks for a bag of 50 creature baits identical to the strike king rodent. It looks like im going to need to start buying my soft plastics off ebay anybody else do so?

Sometimes. I usually get my Zoom 8" magnum lizzards there. The few stores that carry them want $5-$5.50 a bag. I just bought a few bags for $4 each with free shipping. Most of my reels came from ebay. There is a seller there unitedoutdoors that sells New Pflueger spinning reels for 15-20 dollars less than store prices.

I've never bought soft plastics of ebay, but I've bought line, reels, rods there.

That said, tis the season for overstockbaits to be offering lots of softies for cheaps!

I don't see why not. I have bought reels off eBay in the past.

When shopping it's all about getting a good deal so ebay is the way to go sometimes

I get lots of my plastics at Dick's Sporting goods honestly.  I don't know if it's just local or what, but the going price for brush hogs, flukes, trick worms and finesse worms is under $3 bucks a bag.

Ive bought those "senkos" your talking about....they are not as soft as gary's and dont have quite the action/fall but cant beat them for the price if you fish that style of bait a lot. They also hold up a little better since they are a tougher plastic. I get about the same bites as I would using the original senko.

I've purchased stick worms on eBay. Some have been super soft and others were more dense. Haven't noticed a difference in either catching fish.

I've purchased TONS of soft plastic lots on Ebay. Just picked up a clear Plano storage box with Hooks, sinkers, swivels, beads, Zoom Super Hogs, lizards and Strike King River bugs for $.99 with $5.00 shipping..how can you POSSIBLY go wrong???

I even sometimes buy lots out of curiousity. I can't make out what's in the picture so its a mystery until it arrives. I then take what I like (EVERYTHING usually) and sell the rest to try to recoup my spendings.Works sometimes..

Not usually, but I have bought some NIB stuff from places like Simmons SG, Brad at JBC, etc... when I have only needed a bag or two of something and didn't want or need to make a trip to the city to the nearest tackle store, or make a TW order.

I buy a good amount of stuff on Ebay.  Typically what I get there is:

Custom hand painted crankbaits

Spinnerbait frames with the head already painted

Most of my panfish/trout soft plastics

Powder paint, spinnerbait blades, clevis's, ball bearing swivels

Bulk Hooks (Gamakatsu)
