^ I wear a size 11 shoe, looks like a kids sandal. This guy was deceptively heavy, I'd say 4 pounds at least. Trick worms killin it.

Just went back to around the same area I caught the guy above, pulled out maybe a 3 pounder? 1469819_3712388785124_2096992073_n.jpg

Then threw again and caught a little dink next cast, on the trick worm.

Your second caught fish pic looks bigger than the first fish. WTG on that trick worm.

He is fatter, his mouth is not a big though, and not quite as long. I'd say the first pic is a 4 pounder, and the second is a 3 lber, just my guess. Much appreciated man definitely going to continue to build confidence on the trick worm.

Good going! I am terrible at judging size from pics, but keep on catching!

So I'm pretty much slaying 3-5 lbers on trick worms. Well, maybe not slaying, but I caught three real nice fish today, and probably will go back out again this evening. I don't have a scale so I can only guess weight.

If you buy a scale you won't have to guess.

Well, I've never caught big enough fish on a consistent basis to justify buying a scale... definitely thinking about it now though :P

Academy has some decent digital scales for $15 to $20.  I've had one for about 2 years and it works well, maybe a tenth or so off on accuracy (used some weights to test it out).  You could also get a little tape measure or something to measure lengths which would give you a ballpark weight if you apply it to bass size charts.
