Hey Guys,

My name is Zach Parkent and I'm 24 years old. I currently work for Constellation energy in Baltimore, Md and have been with this outstanding company for over a year. I'm a non boater looking for an opportunity with a club in Maryland for the 2014 fishing season and beyond. I'm willing to drive a half an hour to 45 minutes to a club. I'm an adamant bass fisherman and cannot get enough of it. The reason I'm looking for a club is not only to perfect my techniques but learn new ones as well. In addition, I want to build relationships with others who have as much passion for the sport as I do. I want to start participating in tournaments and down the road potentially meet sponsors who are willing to give me an opportunity to showcase and market their products. I've always been and always will be driven by competition and a desire to win.

I just recently graduated from Stevenson University in May of  2012 with a bachelors in Business. This degree not only taught me an unbelievable amount about marketing and finance, but it taught me the meaning of hard work and dedication. My father taught me how to fish from a young age but it was not until I was in my late teens that I truly learned an appreciation for not only the outdoors but bass fishing. This sport is something I cannot get enough of and I am always pushing myself to learn more about techniques and lures, but the biology, habitats, and habits of bass as well. I push to spend as much free time as I have practicing, testing out new lures and making adjustments to existing ones, and reading literature on bass fishing.

Even with all of this said nothing can compare to time on the water. Even if I had a perfected cast or confidence in certain baits I can only test so much of this out fishing small ponds, lakes, and reservoirs from shore. One day I will own a boat, but that time is not now. This is why I want to become a non-boater. Not just to meet others who once were in my position, but to learn from them as well. I full believe this sport constantly evolves and if you aren't adapting and learning you are standing still. Feel free to message me on here or send an email to zachparkent@yahoo.com. I usually respond to all emails very quickly. Please help me to find a club and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thanks,

-Zach
