How about some doubles caught on one lure on one rod ...

This is all I have for this one.  Earlier the same day I had about a 2lb. smallmouth and a 2 lb. largemouth hit my jerkbait at the same time from opposite directions right at the boat (It was cool to see).  I hooked up with both, but that smallmouth took that largemouth for a ride and eventually the smallmouth came off and all there was left was a worn out and shocked largemouth.

NICE ~ !

You better come up with a matching fishing cap to go with the shirt.

And it will have to be available in Swollen Head Size for "His Eminence".

A-Jay, maybe I can send Dwight a White Sox hat?? The black & white would match Mark's shirt design perfectly!!

I guess that's a decent plan -

But this is fairly color coordinated as well and is definitely more my style.

Kudos to the Red Sox but Dwight would have to grow a gnarly beard to wear that hat!! Not be a bad idea though, then he could have his own reality show...."Smallmouth Dynasty"

Happy New Year to you guys -

Not a big pair, but it's from my favorite place to fish in late May/early June.  It's even more fun than Erie during that time frame.  You won't get the size Erie offers, but it's non-stop action from some feisty river smallies.

I'm not sure they're my favorite pair, but they were a special pair

because I boated them on Father's Day

Back on topic :laugh5: , only pair of smallies I have a picture of. Wife caught the bigger one, I unhooked it and was measuring him and getting ready to take her picture with it when she hooked up with the second one  :respect-059:

Due to the subject line of this particular thread, and knowing the present clientele like I do,

I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised that this thread has not included a few more seedy replies.

How do you manage to get a pic of two fish? Are you keeping both those fish? Do you catch one and put in a live well, hoping you'll catch another so that you'll have a pic of two fish?

PA has a trophy season before the regular season opens after spawning. During the trophy season you are allowed to keep one fish per day over 20" long. We simply put one in the livewell & wait to catch the second fish for a picture of a pair over 20". We release all smallies as I have never kept one. The only one I would keep would be a state record which requires weighing one a paper printout state certified scale like in a grocery or meat market.

I would love to see one of you two stick that State Record!  According to NOAA, the ice should be gone from the PA section of Erie.  The season is upon us!!!!!!
