Cast somewhere else. If all you get are dinks, then you're probably casting where the dinks reside. If you're generally casting to the shoreline, then cast 20-30' off depending on the drop offs. Another option is to put your boat up against the shoreline and cast out toward the main lake and fish "up hill" to potentially show it to the bigger fish first.

I've actually caught my biggest bass (LM) 8lb-2oz on a 3" grub but have caught a few 6lb'ers on 5" senko's wacky rigged on a Zappu 3/16"

I would say the typing is fine, the area he is fishing may need to change however.  Find big bass areas, you may be where the dinks are at the time of day you are fishing.

This site has a good spell check on the right side if the page, when posting a reply.

The vast majority of bass anglers tend to fish within a casting distance from the bank and use the Texas rigged high production injection molded worms. Sometimes that works, most of the time it doesn't.

What makes bass fishing a great sport is the bass are willing to bite a wide variety of lures. You need to determine what lures and presentation the bass prefer at the time and place.

Learn to fish soft plastic worms using a few techniques like drop shot, Carolina rig, shaky head jig along with the Texas rig.

You will never know what color the bass prefer until you try a few different colors, same for the length and style.

Adult size bass are more experienced then smaller Juvenal bass that are very aggressive. You need to slow down and fish where the larger bass are located.

Last time I checked this was a fishing forum not English class or Grammar School...

No need to kick a guy in the nutz for his spelling on the Internet without knowing his background or reasoning...

Some one must have thought it (spelling) was important or they wouldn't have put a "check spelling" function on the site.

Just saying...How can you ridicule someone for their spelling then follow up starting a sentence off with AND???

Although I usually don't pay attention to stupid arguments, this actually gave me a good chuckle.

Back on subject, if you have the means to fish new areas then that would be the first thing that I would do.  Second I would up-size my bait to maybe wean out some of the smaller bass.

I've been "fishing with worms" for most of my life,

but since I switched meds, I think they're now under control

Bass Resource has a very large library of articles.

Look at the top of the page. You'll see the header for the articles section. I'd suggest starting it the Tips & Tactics section, then look in the lure techniques sections.

There are enough articles, and enough information to keep you occupied all winter.

Not to mention that the articlers won't call you out for your grammar :)
