5fishlimit Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I started tearing apart my gear, and taking inventory of what I have and I found 3 of these I had picked up. 1 is the 11 size, a 2 are the 13 size. They've never seen water before as I've never used jerkbaits, but will give them a proper workout when the water thaws. How are these things? Will I be need to do much to them to get them to properly suspend? I appreciate any help about this. Quote
Super User Solution Dwight Hottle Posted December 10, 2013 Super User Solution Posted December 10, 2013 I picked up one to try and subsequently have about six of them. They are more of a slash bait to me than a typical jerkbait. They have a very wide turn to them & are best worked very fast or violently. I would not classify them as a subtle bait. I also think they work better as water temps are warming rather than early when the water is still cold. As a side note pike will not leave them alone. 1 Quote

I have the silver/green back, silver/black back, and white/red. Quote
