KC Bass Fanatic Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 I love fishing a square bill in the fall. I'm partial to a Norman FatBoy. What's your favorite square bill in the Fall? Quote
Steven Ladner Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Lucky Craft RC 1.5 mainly. But I also use the H2O CRS cranks every now and then. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted October 30, 2010 Super User Posted October 30, 2010 Hard to beat a Norman Fat boy !! Quote
Stringjam Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 BigM "Marty's Charlie" ....or an original Charlie-O The Zoom WEC Wobbler is also close, but digs a little harder / deeper and doesn't have the same feel as the original. Some of the only round / square-billed cranks that have TIGHT action. Quote
Super User David P Posted October 30, 2010 Super User Posted October 30, 2010 I've really been having a lot of fun with Big M's custom cranks. He posts on here in the Tackle making section frequently. Well priced, and they run true right away, unlike most crankbaits even in the higher price range. I haven't had a single issue with these, and they flat out catch fish. Quote
SkilletSizeBass. Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I like the wec z-1's, I'm not sure if the wobbler is considered a true square bill, but its one of my fav's anyway ;D, and a couple by Jawjacker. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted October 31, 2010 Super User Posted October 31, 2010 My favorite Coffin Bill by far: Rapala DT-7 Flat Sure-Set (balsa wood) Roger Quote

flippin and pitchin Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Speed Trap for tight wiggle and Bomber Balsa for wide wobble. I am looking forward to the new Xcaliber and SK square bills though. Could be interesting. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted November 1, 2010 Super User Posted November 1, 2010 Lucky Craft RC 1.5, Norman Fat Boy, SK 4s, and though it has a coffin lip, I really like the Norman Thin N Quote
hitchhiker Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I like the H2O Express CRS. Their low price and nice paint jobs work really well for me. Lets me throw them into some cover that I would be hesitant to throw an expensive bait into. Plus they catch fish. Quote
Primus Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Speed Trap for tight wiggle and Bomber Balsa for wide wobble. I am looking forward to the new Xcaliber and SK square bills though. Could be interesting. Just got one of the Strike Kings, I've already stuck a few on the Bluegill color. Looks good in the water. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 X2 on the H20 I also like their wake bait. Always seems to catch fish for me Quote
Nick Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Big M can make you about any shape or color balsa plug that you like. His baits run true and his paint jobs are just outstanding. I told him he should raise his prices! OUCH! Quote
