dreamertino Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Anyone tried this worm on a shakey head or dropshot? The bold gill color looks amazing Quote
MacP Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 That looks just like a Roboworm in bold bluegill. Roboworms salt and likeness to a handpour make them the best dropshot baits around right now. They are NOT durable though. They do catch fish. I only drop shot roboworms and z-drop zooms. I shakey head finesse and trick worms. Quote
dreamertino Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 I was wanting to try the z drop worms Quote
5fishlimit Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I've used these on a shakey head. The green pumpkin with the chartreuse tail is the color I use. The tail will float straight up. Quote
dreamertino Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 I was looking at those too 5fishlimit I love a shakey head my favorite technique Quote
dreamertino Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 MacP I didn't know that the roboworm had the bold gill color didn't see it on TW. I will look again Quote
born2fish94 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Anyone tried this worm on a shakey head or dropshot? The bold gill color looks amazing it is the only worm I throw on shakey head. I used to throw the robo worm but this worm is much more durable and cheaper, and I haven't noticed it to be any less productive than my robo worms. I've got probably 10 packs of them. great worm and you can catch 5 or 6 fish on one worm vs 1 fish per worm on the robo worm. P.S. I throw the bold gill 90% of the time everywhere I go. Quote
dreamertino Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 Yea durability was a factor for me I love the action of roboworms I may get both Quote
Bass Junkie Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I was wanting to try the z drop worms They look very similar to the Jackall Cross Tail Shad. If they produce anything like the Jackall's they'll be on my list for sure 1 Quote
MacP Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 They look very similar to the Jackall Cross Tail Shad. If they produce anything like the Jackall's they'll be on my list for sure They do! Green Pumpkin and Greet Meanie are my colors. First time I was out fishing them I drop shotted them in 9-10 foot of water going on points, gravel bars and cover. I caught a nice limit of spot in 2 hours. On one bush, I got a LMB, Crappie, and a Red Eye. Quote
wisconsin heat Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Shaking squirrels are great, Much more durable than a robo with comparable action. My fav color is oxblood red Quote
