Kvd 1.5/2.5 Vs. Storm Arashi 03/05

I have yet to find the Storm cranks in any stores that I frequent to compare them size wise to my usual "go-to" square bills, the SK KVD's. Could some one post a picture of the Storms next to the KVD's to show the size/profile.  The Storms are on my short list of new stuff to try next year, and I am going to buy them anyways, just would like to see a side by side with the KVD's first for my own idiotic reasons.

I have seen them at both Academy and Dicks in case you have those close by you.  I am sure BPS has them as well!

I've yet to catch a fish on an Arashi...they look amazing in person and in the water.  Just a matter of time.

To get slightly off topic, the Acadamy CRS and CRM are excellent inexpensive square bills but my favorite is the Baker suspending square bills.

Also off topic, but I just picked up a Yamamoto Chikira squarebill. Really looks promising. Of course I wont be able to find out till March.

I bought two of these Hootie, and they WORK! Caught fish on them when my buddy couldn't buy a bite. They look great and swim pretty good too.

Any comparisons to the KVD's? The Arashi self tune looks pretty intersting.

Thanks for the pic, I know what the Arashi 3 and 5 look like but I wanted to see the flat 7, I love the Rapala DT Flat 7 baits and I was afraid the Arashi flat 7 was just a Storm brand DT Flat 7 but it is different and now I got to get a few. For those that aren't aware of it, the flat 7, and flat side cranks in general, are great in the spring in cooler water but they are also a nice change of pace for summer bass that seen it all.

I really like the Arashi 3.  it is my favorite crank right now.  they get through cover great, and have a nice wobble to them.  probably a little more pronounced them the KVD 1.5.  i love the Arashi, but i still have some 1.5s that i though too, along with a River 2 Sea Biggie Smalls

I am going to BPS tomorrow I have some gift cards to spend so I am going to pick up some storm cranks. I'm a huge fan of the KVDs so I will try out the storm

I tried out the Arashi's this year when they came out.  Just couldn't help myself I love the look of them.  However; never did catch anything but I didn't give them a solid chance either.  They are a little bit larger than a KVD 1.5 or Excalibur 100, both of which are phenomenal baits.  I found the wobble seems a little more wide and not as frantic as the KVD or Excalibur and went back to the known quantity when the heat was on.  This spring before tournaments start up I'm going to give the smaller Arashi a shot again.
