jignfule Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 We if you don't beat em, join em. It will be interesting to see how it works out, BSU has seen many of there successful coaches struggle as they took over other program. I wish the best for him, he's a good man. Hope we can find another. Quote
Super User Marty Posted December 7, 2013 Super User Posted December 7, 2013 Hasn't he had other offers from the power conferences? I wonder what changed other than the money. Quote
jignfule Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 He will be one of the highest paid coaches in the PAC12 (isn't the PAC 12 considered a "power conference" ?) Quote
Brian Needham Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Hope we can find another. I think you are coming after my coach at Arkansas State.......Harsin, which makes sense since he is one of yall. Quote
jignfule Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 Ya, his name was mentioned on the newscast yesterday as one of four they are looking at right now. Quote
Super User Marty Posted December 8, 2013 Super User Posted December 8, 2013 (isn't the PAC 12 considered a "power conference" ?) Yes it is. My post could've been misleading because I didn't use the word "other", as in "other power conferences." Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 8, 2013 Super User Posted December 8, 2013 We all know there is only one Power conference. Need I say it? 1 Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 8, 2013 Super User Posted December 8, 2013 His son needs top notch medical treatment which he can get easily at Washington. I am sure this played into his decision to move to Udub. Quote
