Super User Sam Posted December 5, 2013 Super User Posted December 5, 2013 Would love to join you but can't due to my club's rules about being a member of only one club. Maybe I can fish a tournament or two as a guest next year? Just let me know as your tournaments come about in 2013. Sounds like a great club and the waters you will be fishing are excellent. Quote

Just curious, but hwy can't you be a member of multiple clubs as long as you can meet the requirements of both? Quote
Tallent25 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Thanks sam I'd be glad to have you anytime you wanna fish as non boater or as a boater just let me know as soon as we get a head count well be doing some scheduling so I'll keep you posted I forgot to mention these are two person team events there will be an soy at the end of the year etc Quote
Tallent25 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Certain clubs require you only be a member of there club just depends what clubs/ club you fish with and scheduling Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 5, 2013 Super User Posted December 5, 2013 Our bass club is associated with B.A.S.S. You can only be a member of one B.A.S.S. club in Virginia. You cannot be a member of any FLW clubs if you are in B.A.S.S. and vice versa. You can fish B.A.S.S. region and state events with other guys in other B.A.S.S. clubs if 1) the region and state allows this and 2) the clubs don't have any problems with this. We do this to have more guys and gals fish the Six-Man Team and Mr. Bass tournaments. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted December 5, 2013 Super User Posted December 5, 2013 that makes sense Sam. I am completely ignorant to how these clubs work. I may have to join as a non boater one of these years.... Quote
Tallent25 Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 I have had some good interest off of here wanted to say thanks to everyone but we still need a couple more guys ! Quote
Tallent25 Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Anybody else in the va area looking to fish ? Quote
BlackMagic82 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Just want to throw my two cents in on this thread. Last year was my first year in the area and I was looking for a club to fish with. I found these guys here on Bass Resource and it has been awesome ever since. Great group of guys to fish with, lots of experience amongst them and just an awesome experience overall. If you're in the RVA or Tri-Cities area and looking for a club to join, you should definitely look at River City Anglers. Here's to a great 2014 fishing season! Quote
Hanover_Yakker Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I'd love to join but mywork schedule, newborn daughter and travel ball schedule with my son (weekend practices and tournaments) precludes me from doing anything like this. Sucks too - I know I am missing out on some good times and good people. Quote
