Super User roadwarrior Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 Needed to start a new thread rather than hijack Dwight's post. So, Brian & Jeff: Where, when and on what? I want to hear the long version. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 Three Mile Island on the Susquehanna would be my guess. Probably caught that thing on whatever you catch drums with. LOL! 1 Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 The only thing missing from that picture is a drum stick. And maybe a shave. 2 Quote

Super User Dwight Hottle Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 I contend the beard makes the pic.... Absolutely correct. But any beard looks better than a drum, dum da dum. 3 Quote
Brian Needham Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 gold, bronze, brown fish.......what's the difference? 1 Quote

Brian Needham Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Kent, we went below the dam sunday. we were thinking the flow and timing were right.....it wasnt. I caught 4 drum, 2 large, 2 spots and a smallmouth(not pictured) I think jeff caught 4 spots and a smallie. They were pumping 53ish all day with 4 generators..... bait shop was out of XL bait. it was fun because Ihavent caught anything in a while, but not a day to write about, other than to have a little fun. I am however, refining my drum technuiqe so I may be a force at next years roadtrip, HA! 2 Quote
Pete-K Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Water looks like its going to be perfect Saturday 80,000+. If the Ice does not keep me off the water below the dam. Got to get the boat Trailer runner finished tomorrow. Also have some hand poured 4" drop shot worms I want to try out with a split shot rig. Thinking they will be killer for fishing below the dam. Poured up a few dozen last week. Pete Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 The rules committee has recently published a little known by-law which stipulates All Drum caught, weighed, photographed and especially posted Must be included in the Tackle The Storm donation tally at Triple the going rate ~ So you have that going for you. Brian Needham Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 indeed Andy........ you had to blow the dust off that rule. so 50 cents a fish makes it $1.50 but since my earlier commitment was also $7 per 4#er.......it looks like my little joke makes 3 children very happy, and a 4th just a few drum away!!! 3 Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted December 5, 2013 Super User Posted December 5, 2013 You are a good sport Brian. Well done. 2 Quote
