bkohlman Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 What is your favorite skit from SNL? Mine is the "Cowbell" skit with Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell. 1 Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 I like the old snl stuff with Adam sandler I always liked opera man Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 When I think of SNL and could only pick one................it's the Patrick Swayze/Chris Farley chipindales bit..........I also really liked a lot of Phil Hartman's stuff when he was on, and just about any thing with Will Ferrell was funny. Of this seasons stuff the best so far have been the "e-meth" commercial, and the parody song of what does the fox say, called "what does my girl say". 4 Quote

Brian Needham Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 it was good 25 years ago, I guess every generation has its deal. Chris Farley was the man, chippindales, van down by the river, the always classic smitts gay.LMAO Hartman was a gold....... weekend news was never the same after Dennis Miller left. SNL is always the best when they make fun of presidents. 1 Quote

Super User slonezp Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 The old stuff. Belushi and Akroyd, Murray, Chase, Murphy, Morris, Piscopo, etc. Samurai Delicatessen, Mr Roberts Neighborhood, The Whiners, King Bees, Blues Brothers. The best band they had was G.E. Smith and the SNL Band G.E. was married to Gilda Radner 2 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 no coke. pepsi. No cheeseburger, hamburger Billy Goat is a Chicago icon for a restaurant. Most memorable experience I had eating at the Billy Goat was breakfast. My crew and I were eating there every morning for a week or so, while working on a job around the corner. One morning we were sitting at the window chairs watching people walk by while enjoying the breakfast special. A homeless guy walks directly in front of me and vomits on the window. Welcome to Chicago.... Quote

aceman387 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I haven't watched it in years but i remember the one skit where John Belushi and the gang were dressed up as killer bees and John Belushi catches one of the other bees "buzzing off"under the blankets with a magazine...lol I think it was Dan Akroyd who asks Belushi how does he know for sure and Belushi pipes back "because there's honey all over the place" Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted December 4, 2013 Super User Posted December 4, 2013 I love the old ones as well-used to watch them back in the day. Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtain doing Point/Counter-Point and Gilda as Rosanna RosannaDanna were as good as it gets. Eddie Murphy doing Mr. Rogers was classic also. 1 Quote
